T.A. Waters had some variations on this, including a very interesting flapped design that works well with some specific thicknesses of card.
(O.T.L. Omega in Mind, Myth and Magick) It's not strictly an O.T.L., since it doesn't use half cards as such, but it certainly has the same genesis. If you need this for crediting, then "Out To Lunch" (with the Indian Rope Trick patter) was marketed by Bob Ellis-Clare Cummings, I believe. I think applying it to a triple prediction is a pretty obvious step really, so I'm not sure you'd need to credit much more than that. |

PsiDroid,
Where is Paolo's routine found (or is 'Nothing Could Be Simpler' the title of a specific booklet or effect)? Thank you for your help! Tom |

I will second Paul Romhany's book "Mental Epic Compendium". There is a ton of great material. It goes over multiple methods and premises. I think this book was overlooked by the mentalist community. Many of the routines are solid audience tested pieces by pros that are out there working.

Richard, if you think the Mentalism community overlooked the Mental Epic Compendium then you should see what they are going to do with my next Mentalism Book - it will probably be the most controversial mentalist book on the market:) It's already well over 350 pages of incredible material from mentalists all over the world. For all those who said it can't be done -well some of the best mentalists are already doing it!
Actually to be fair, Mental Epic Compendium is now in to it's third printing -- it's been doing really well so that's good news. Banacheck has an amazing routine in there with business cards that I use all the time - no gimmicks just cards. More to come ...... Paul

Hi - most defnitely in Mental Epic Compendium - there are a few great routines along those lines. I also wrote a book on the Out To Lunch Principle and released a DVD. Loads of ideas out there.
