Does anyone know of any good close-up fire effects? By close-up, I mean a safe distance, of course, but I want to be able be up close before the effect and walk back up to my audience right away afterwards. What I'm looking for is something that either finishes clean or that I can pocket easily while the audience is still in "holy-crap-FIRE!!" mode without using a pull.

Jay sankey's in a flash is doable in close-up and gets amazing reactions.
another one is the trasformation of a paper rose into a real one (the paper rose as well as the real one do not have stalk)
and of course fuse is great even close-up

I do several small flash paper effect making coins appear dissaper etc,,, also,,, branded is great for close up,,, there are many out there,,, just got to look a bit
