Dear Carlzen,
Thank you for your feedback. Obviously, you feel ripped so badly that you need to go onto all the forums and all the places to say out loud how bad the trick is to your eyes. Now let me ask you this: Are you a magician ? Do you perform magic ? Is it the first time you buy a magic trick ? I apologize to ask all those questions, but sometimes I wonder ? Did any of the advertisement, demo video try to deceive you in any way ? Everything is exactly as described. Signature is an effect using pens, a check of your own. What you received was I presume correctly packaged, and will allow you to perform exactly the effect as it is described. Each pen costs us over $ 10 before being gimmicked. Add to that the production cost, the manufacture time, the marketing, etc. At the end, our final manufacture cost goes over $ 50 for each single trick. I apologize, but I do not feel that Arteco Production, nor Thomas rembault are trying to rip anybody off. There is a video demo that shows exactly what the effect is. If you believe the effect is so obvious, why buying it in the first place ? If you believe the effect is so bad, why buying it for yourself ? I understand that you can be disapointed because you might have been able to figure the trick on your own, or that now you feel that it is not as credible as you think, but remember one thing: The magic is made by the magician, not by the material he uses. All the material you receive is genuine, and it allows you to perform the trick exaxctly as described. Instead of resigning, why not giving it a try with your audience. You might be surprised of the reactions if you work your presentation over the gimmick itself. As per the material, if you do not like the electric tape, feel free to personalize each pens by using chinese ink instead. It's a little time consuming, but this is an option. And if you feel that there is no way you will perform it, fine too. Feel free to share you opinion about it, but at least, give a little of respect. Arteco production or Thomas rembault are not trying to rip anybody off. The final cost is based on our manufacture cost, and this is fair based on the standard market price. The material allow to do exactly the trick, and is quality material. |

Even when buying top notch stuff- something can (and usually does) go wrong. That's just the industry of magic. I can't speak for others, but I know I am always fixing or jimmying something to make it work right or better. Best, RNK

Something tells me that you haven't performed this yet, and are still working out issues... Forgive me if I am wrong. If I am, how do you write in the extra 0s? |

Oh, and the method is pretty obvious, and being a magician doesn't help as it isn't really a "magic" method. Now, haven't seen the pens, but the longer I wait the more dissapointed I become. Now, I understand the cost, because the pens are not cheap and gaffing them must take time and money, but there are many roulette routines out there that may also work.

I never had to put electrical tape on my pens. Don't know why that was said?

O.K. went against the grain of were this thread was heading and went ahead and bought these anyway. I am really glad I wasn't put off by the one person who seemed not to like them. I think the concept, routine, and quality of the pens are fantastic. As I have a corporate presentation that fits into an attache case, these are perfect and a perfect segue to follow the Delsey attache case opening. The pens operate smoothly and look like any other middle of the road style office pens. Very happy with the purchase.
