The spirit of the original post was to help me conspire to be ornery; if you persist, you will be in keeping with the spirit by turning my own game against me. Well played, sir!

Well then, let's continue:
The R in "park the car", if the sentence is spoken with a Boston accent. If speaking rapidly, lots of things disappear: The second D in a phrase like "Did you?" The D in "sandwich". Or the D in "grandpa". The N in "open the door" How am I doing? |

The OP created a fun list. Quick bit about Ypsilanti: when I lived on the east coast we pronounced the the city's name as our OP infers. However, in NW Ohio and much of Michigan, the "y" is pronounced!
Apologies to Michael as I cannot transcribe the "y" sound in linguistic notation in a meaningful way and I doubt that anyone really cares unless Noam Chomsky is also a magician Ahimsa, Vlad |

I don't understand about Ypsilanti. I thought you pronounce the Y, but with this phoneme: /I/ Are you saying it's pronounced more like a /j/ ?

What about everyone's favourite Welsh village:
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch I suspect that even the Welsh don't know which letters are sounded. John
