Hey guys,
Been working on a coin through glass idea, it's a bit of an obsession of mine. Would love to hear some of your thoughts and get some feed back off of you on my latest findings. By the way, this doesn't use any gimmicks and it's impromptu. Check it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4co2ZLqcUw Cheers, Lloyd |

Mr. Barnes,
It's a neat little idea and if you keep working on it, it might become part of a larger routine. By itself it's better than a puzzle but not quite a trick. Keep working on it and amaze us all. I would also like to encourage you to keep working on your talent. Groups like this are a great way for young guys like yourself to learn and bounce ideas off of professionals. Don't be too hasty though, work on your material and try it out in real life situations until you are comfortable with it, when you think you really have something, wait another several months to be sure. As I said, the up side of having knowledgeable people looking at your stuff is the insight they can give you, the down side is that it can sound harsh sometimes (you probably know what I mean). You have to be open to what people have to say. Of course sometimes they might be wrong too but you need to sift through it all and take away from it things which will make you better. The thing that younger people need to be especially careful of is exposure. If your talent is not polished enough and you post a video then casual observers might deduce the method and spoil it for those who have taken the time to really get it right. I'm not saying you did that, I'm just making a general comment for young magicians. Once you post a video it's there for all the world to see, no do-overs, and unlike a live show you can look at it yourself to be absolutely sure that's what you want others to see. Anyway keep on thinking of new ideas and methods, magic needs young guys like you. Respectfully, Phil |

This is actually part of a longer 4 phase routine I have, but I'm not ready to put these up yet, they look more magical than this and I want to keep them to myself for the time being. I look young but I'm 23 next month, shock horror! I have about 8 of my ideas on line, 8 out of about 100 - 150 documented. Here's my two youtube channel links: http://www.youtube.com/user/alcoroller and http://www.youtube.com/user/RabbitRebellion?feature=mhee Thanks again for taking the time to write this to me, I really appreciate it. Everything you've said has been taken on board. Cheers, Lloyd |

Mr. Barnes,
I have seen your videos before and followed some of your other discussions (not all on this site), that is why I know you have talent. Also, trust me, 22 is very young! Looking forward to seeing the entire routine. R/ Phil |

I could really see this as a part of a larger routine. Very nice.
