Wanted to post this in a new thread as the other was fairly full.
Effect - Basically a signed card inside balloon type effect, the explained version uses a kind of prediction transformation and works really well. Ultimately it is the act of being able to place something in an empty balloon and having it be whatever you want. Would work easily with playing cards, billets, coins and some other small objects. Key word being 'work', and it works pretty well and pretty easily. What is it? - A well explained DVD showing a good routine and covering everything really well. You will need a few things but nothing fancy, some balloons obviously for example. I watched the new trailer for this before I got it and it does play out as shown, I know the trailer is edited but it cuts nothing out detail-wise. Routine explanation - The DVD explains everything you need but cuts out the finer sleight details (if you want it to of course) From DVD to performance - I had to improvise slightly but I was able to start working this as soon as I finished watching it. This isn't a reflection on the routine or the method, but more how well the result is achieved. Ease of use and how does it play out? - Really easy to do, reset time (if you call it that) is minimal and you could be one step ahead if you had planned to do this a few times a night. Some people might think a bit of it is quite bold but it really works and is fun and easy to perform. Who is it for? - This could be for anyone who likes the idea of placing something inside a balloon. All you need to know to be able to perform this is on the DVD and it can be adapted for any effect really. Overall - The reasons I like this is are the fact that it is fun and easy to perform but can play really bit. When I do card magic I like to have something that is a bit different and this is a great example, maybe I like the comfort of cards or whatever but this doesn't feel like a card trick and people wont describe it as that. I don't generally like to give things marks out of 10, just words. I will definitely be using this and am confident that it will be a winner.
