I recently saw a magician have three volunteers pick off small packs of cards from a deck. He then did a little fishing with the first and second volunteer and named their cards. He then asked the third volunteer to flash their cards and the magician then went on to identfy all of the cards he held. I feel that this effect is one of Charles Jordan, but I cannot find it in the Karl Fulves book, I know I have seen it somewhere (maybe Stanyon?) but I cannot remember where can anyone help?

Yes, but there is no fishing needed. Jan

I was imagining the "fishing" described as the magician feigning difficulty. Bill Malone's presentation of the idea involves that quick flash at the end.

The last trick in Ackerman's book Las Vegas Kardma is what this sounds a lot like. I think it's Steve Elhers.
