Dear all,
A couple years ago at the Convention at the Captial, I saw Josh Jay do a beautiful vanish with the coin under his wrist band (not spectator's). I've been having trouble reproducing the grace of the move, and was wondering if anyone has a source for tips on this. I do have Magic Atlas, and the Pentium vanish from Pocket Power (?), but I just can't seem to make it a convincing vanish. I think it's the way I'm putting the coin "in my hand"-- I wouldn't do it that way usually, so it looks odd to me. There must be another more natural approach somewhere. thanks in advance, -- Frank |

Was it the Same method as Sankey's Messiah vanish or was it under the palm side of the wrist?

Yes does sound like the Messiah Vanish.
This is on Jay Sankeys Best of Series, Volume 2. It may also be on his other videos, however I am not too sure about this. |

Josh's was under the palm side. He could put his hand and wrist in his pocket and ditch the coin that way.

Frank, I just saw his lecture and I know the vanish you are speaking of, very deceptive...
Joshua performed Troy Hooser's Squeezed Away and in place of Troy's Dextrous Ditch he used the that wrist band vanish to end clean. It is in his Magic Atlas; I believe that chapter 6 "Time Travel" is all about Joshua's wristwatch work... See the effect, Convincingly Clean Copper-Silver-Brass on page 123. If you have more questions about this after reading this chapter, PM me and I will be happy to help!
Magically,
