Oscar Munoz and I just performed together for a lay audience in my home town. We also shot video of the entire show. Oscars pretty good. Might end up being a DVD project. Just might!
Just sayin! |

http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S15395 Live Show 2 Rope Trick This is a practical multi-phased rope routine based on the original "Sand-Sational" from George Sands. It begins with an amazing production of "ends" of the rope, and then transitions into a beautiful two-rope sequence. As ever, Oscar takes you through the routine step by step, giving all the nuances and touches on how to present this to a family audience. 3 Rope Trick This is an exceedingly clever way of dressing up Professor's Nightmare. Rather than doing the classic trick in the same old way, Munoz shows two sets of ropes: one set has three ropes of equal length and the other set has three ropes of different lengths. Under test conditions and as visibly as possible, Munoz causes the sizes of the ropes to transpose. Linking Rings Learn this elegant version of the Linking Rings from a master of the classics: Oscar Munoz. Oscar's routine uses just three rings and it showcases several original, visual penetration sequences. The routine is best suited to music or light patter, and it's the perfect length for a family audience. Billiard Balls The billiard ball manipulation effect is a classic, yet good, PRACTICAL routines are almost impossible to come by. Oscar details a fun, comedic yet elegant routine that incorporates three color changes, a production sequence, and an elegant finale. He details all the props, moves, and routining that you need to perform this routine. Best of all, his routine is designed to look amazing from far away and quite close, so it's perfect for family shows or parlor audiences. Balloon Swallow One of the most popular parlor routines EVER is taught to us by Oscar, with all his professional touches. There is hardly ANYTHING that a magician can do to elicit a stronger reaction than to seemingly swallow a long balloon. This is the method to do it safely and entertainingly. Mouse in Bag And MORE! |

Seems kinda of a light list for 2 DVDs. I wonder if it has his linking balloons on it.

There are two bonus tricks - one on each disc - that are not mentioned in the description. The first is "Texas Silk Round-Up," and the second is Oscar's brilliant "Linking Balloons." There is also a 15 minute interview on the second disc. Most of the tricks have a performance in front of a live audience, as well as a studio performance. The explanations are extremely detailed and well thought out. It's great!

Well it's $50 for 2 DVDs....explanations on some of these routines are long.....his billiard ball an rope routines are detailed...then there's a 50 minute show start to finish...
It's worth the $50 |

Exposing Mr. Oscar Munoz’s dishonesty!
by Francis Tabary I have just discovered that Mr. Oscar Munoz, the past president of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, is an unscrupulous individual! I had already had an unpleasant foretaste of it at the 2014 Blackpool Convention, during the Friday evening show, when Mr. Munoz began performing my Fism-winning rope routine, although he knew quite well that I was to perform it myself the following day in the Saturday night gala show. I could hardly believe my eyes, but when I realized what he was doing, I left my seat, walked up to the stage and, in front of the 3000 attendees, asked him to stop his performance. However, let bygones be bygones. Now I have come across the fact that Mr. Munoz has released two DVDs (“Oscar Munoz Live!”) in which he brazenly explains MY rope routine! I am a broad-minded kind of guy, but enough is enough! Had he been a young beginner, I would probably have forgiven him; but he is the I.B.M. past president and, as such, should be wise (or clever) enough to show a little respect for other magicians’ creations, including mine. Although I know that exposing Mr. Munoz’s dishonesty and theft may turn a lot of people against me, this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back! I do not mind him performing my routine, but by selling it with his explanation he proves himself to be, not only an unprincipled plagiarist, but also just plain stupid. Angrily yours, F. Tabary |
