My friend showed me the trailer for that and told me it was his favorite movie.

I own that movie, bought it on dvd. Great movie from my childhood. "You over-rotated"

It was not an official studio release, I think some people just made it. I think amazon.

Isn't is amamzing that you start talking about something, only to find out others have also been talking? (like the vans) Glad your life is now complete. Did you see the rad guy on tosh 2.0? I don't really watch that show, but he was on it-check youtube

Yeah I just watched the clip
I remember being in grade school riding around my neighborhood on my Murray singing "Break the Ice" and trying to jump off of stairs. Man those were good times.

I used to watch that beginning scene SO much, with the guy doing tricks in the mist. (his name was martin aprillo, I was really into BMX at the time...)

I was obsessed with BMX and freestyle in high school. Used to read all the magazines in the library and ride all over the place. There was a dirt track on the campgrounds I used to live on and I used to be on it every day. Used to wear my bike gloves all the time.
My first bike was a Murray. It got stolen. Then I had a vintage Mongoose that I fixed up. It got stolen. Then I got a Redline that I rode every place from age 13-24. In high school I rode it 12 miles to the valley almost every day. That bike was my life. But then it got stolen.

Awesome Movie! LOVED IT! Anyone remember the movie "Thrashin'" about Skateboarding? When I was kid I loved BOTH of those. WOW! I miss the 80s.

Thrashin' was great too. I used to read Thrasher magazine. Skated a bit, but preferred bikes.
One of the strangest hits of the 80's had to be "Over the Top."

Found a pic of the Redline I rode for over 11 years:
 That was it. Same paint job and everything. My very favorite bike I ever has and it was stolen. Was locked to my Mom's front rail with a logging chain and somebody snipped it. Was one of the saddest days of my life. Bike thieves are scum.
