As found on the Flora Co. "Bizarre" videotape. I'm not having any luck with the method outlined there...is it crucial to prepare the substance on a metal surface? Also, would using a full size m**** b** instead make any difference? Thus far I've just tried the standard, bar variety m.b. (Apologies, trying not to tip here)
Any advice, via pm or otherwise would be terrific. Thanks in advance |

I think the answer is yes, you should use the metal surface to prepare, the idea is to keep as little ash from mixing with the material as possible. If you use the little aspirin tin, it also make a handy container. You might need to do several strips to get enough. (alas many manufacturers are getting cheap and reducing the amount of EVERYTHING in their products-all hail the great god Profit!)
As many are given away, the expense to you should be minimal. Also be sure to peel it away from the paper as best you can. I do not think they have changed the chemical makeup of them, probably just a lighter coating of it is the issue. The only other variable would probably be your hands, depending on what your work is day to day and how you care for your hands and skin, I think you need to be sure you have no lotion or oily stuff on the hands, go for dry skin (as in no sweat or water, not damaged dry!) Good luck Kay
