There is no fancy equipment, just an empty room. It seems to be done on a shoe string budget, but it is impressive. I wonder if Zach is on this board. I would like to know why he hasn't been doing more illusions lately

There are two instances where someone passes in front of the camera, in addition the point at which the lighting changes appears very suspect.
Do not get too excited just yet, until the verdict on the exact conditions comes in...I would ask him to reshoot it without the distractions and color change effect.

I agree... I think it is possible to accomplish the effect in the first video without edits... still might require a camera though...

For all the effort this guy puts into making videos, I'd suspect that he would enable youtube's advertising program on it or something. As far as I can tell he's not promoting a show or anything...not to say that having fun making videos isn't worthwhile, but hey, it is always more fun when you get paid to have fun, right?

Ok I watched this video again. If you look at the base thing after the vanish, the bottom inside of it, is 2x as long as the top. IE their is a mirror in it. You can pause it and see that what is supposed to be the bottom looks like it extends beyond the shadow it casts. Which is impossible. Then, when the video is blocked for a second, their is an edit. A horrible one at that. As the lighting changes dramatically. At this point you can see the bottom is now the same size as the top.

The pendulum is the give away really. Why have a device to measure time in a vanish illusion unless you plan on changing the time. You are running when no one is chasing you. Had you just vanished and left it at that, it would have been great! But in your race to be the next Criss Angel, you had to show the box thing has nothing in it and that let to camera edits and trouble. Stop being Criss and start being yourself.

This looks great until the camera cut... I agree with Chad... "BE YOURSELF ALL THE TIME"...
