For those who like to/want to perform this nice effect, 2 issues (at least for me) involve finding the props.
- the accordian-style card holders are not the most readily available, but can be found online with a bit of searching. - the bigger problem (again, for me) was finding an appropriate 'wallet'. of course, you can use vinyl packet trick wallets, but I wanted something nicer, leather... Luckily, last year I found something that my wife had in a drawer for a LONG time that just happened to fill the bill. I got a PM recently from someone asking me what wallet I used. All I could say was I had something my wife had in a drawer. However, I had just won an auction for Hen Fetch's "Wallet Wallop" and thought maybe it might work. "Wallet Wallop" came today, and not only is it the perfect size, it is made of soft leather. The nicest surprise is that "Wallet Wallop" provides you with 2 wallets. Hope this ends up helping someone anxious to find a proper wallet for "Case of Identity". YMMV.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

What a great long forgotten effect this is too. So open...so impossible, and those original (brown plastic) wallets were so subtle.
Perhaps the first post will give this a new lease of life. I hope not...it's too good to share. C
