Hi Rannie -
Very nice application of the Crimp! I've been working with Vinnie on the Crimp and am pleased how versatile it is! Andy |

I have a copper/silver coin. It is copper penny on one side and silver half dollar on the other. I also have a matching copper coin and silver half dollar. This isn't the one that comes with the shell, but I have not used it in a few years. Can anyone recommend and DVD's that teaches routines using this utility? I have a few books and dvd's that teach a copper and silver routine but it's more for the shell gimmick. Thanks

A great first routine with a c/s coin is the classic Presto-Change-o, found in Bobo. You change two coins at once from silver to copper and back, the coins can be handed out at the end, and you're left in position to do a copper-silver transposition routine in the spectator's hand (another great use for the coin you just acquired).

The New York Coin Magic Seminar DVDs Volumes 2, 3, and 4 are all about Copper/Silver effects and routines. Dr. Michael Rubinstein, David Roth, Mike Gallo, Geoff Latta, and Dean Harbottle perform and explain various routines. Can't get anything better!

Not "better" but "different" -- I have a C/S effect combined with "2 in hand" that ends in a spectator's hand with a complete vanish from their hand at the end.
Yes, I know that some notable coin mechanics "know" it is not possible to "Vanish to Empty" in a spectator's hand. Those who know it is possible can contact me for a free version with a commitment to feedback. (Affinity)
