Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew of the best lightbulb for self lighting. such as the atomic bulb etc. I need this for stage and nightclub etc. for a part of my routine. What I need is the brightest (easier to see) as well as for battery life, long lasting. Thanks |

I don't know of any such item available as of yet, maybe when they perfect the LED such a thing will come to market.
Lofus Novelty company supplies the current model on the market, about $6.00. It is still like the old novelty bulb that has been on the market for the last 50 or show years. I did a little search and found this - $42.00: http://www.abbottmagic.com/PK-Ghost-Ligh......oryId=-1 Here is another called Darklight - $595.00: http://www.abbottmagic.com/Dark-Light-DA......oryId=-1 |

Thank you
Darklight for $ 595 is way outof price range for my needs. the one for $ 42 looks good as it is better than the $6 one that I have which is not rechargable, replaceable etc. |

I like to use a pair of D'Lites (White). First, make a regular light bulb appear, then grab a light from the air and throw it into the bulb where the bulb lights up. It's a fun use of the prop. You can also hand out the bulb for inspection. It isn't the super brightness you may be looking for but in the right setting it's very fun.

Mrmagic0 sells a pretty bright version (LED) for about $9.00 right here on the Café'.
The LED version bulbs have been around for a few years. I've PM'd you a link since you have 51 posts you'll have access.

I've got this one. The description is a 'little' confusing but I use it like the "Dark Light" item. Remote, one-push on, one-push off. It's great. Very bright. It changes colors, but not under your control. I just ignore that part.
