Looks great so far. That would take the mask routine in a whole new direction. Great idea.

Really sweet! What type of clay do you use? What will you do to make the puppet after you finish the carving?
You are very good and I am anxious to see it when it is complete. Kingman |

Hey All!
Thanks for the kind words.. I am using Chavant Clay. That is usually what I use for most of my small to medium sculptures.. For bigger pieces I use a clay called 'J-Mac'. I have now molded this and I will be making the skin out of Foam latex with a fiberglass understructure.. It will have several remote controlled movements.. I will show the finished piece when he is done! Later! Damien |

Just curious... how long do you anticipate it taking to install the mechanics?

Thanks for the comments and kind words..
In regards to how long this will take to finish; I am working around my 'real work' schedule, so I am not able to devote as much time as I would like.. I would love to have this thing done in the next couple of weeks for sure (fingers crossed).. Adding the animatronics will actually take a relatively short amount of time. It is all of the other steps along the way that take time.. The step that will take the most time is most likely the finishing work (painting, hair punching, etc).. I will put up a video of the movement when I am done.. Later! Damien |
