Kyle Thanks for the tip, I had thought the same thing, and have contaced him and am very much trying to persuade him at this time, but he is a busy man and is a bit worried about taking on this project. I am working on him still....LOL. I am not really pressured for time, and he seems to be a bit worried about the time to get the product to me, which is very understandable, I would want to be sure clients are happy with both product and the time in which you get it, but for Him, and this special product I would be very lenient. It would be a great prop for all OLACers....LOL Come on Wack-o, lets give it a whirl...Hint Hint..LOL. Any other molders out there that want to try this project??????? Thanks for trying to look out for me Kyle

WMHEGBLINI, Thanks for the input, looked them over, and it seems they have a hole in them much like the sucker egg effect or silk to egg, and can be squashed. but our dilemma is we need a whole fruit with no hole, solid but with a spiral slice placed in it as well. But with your info, I believe we can make some contact with these folks and perhaps get some made. Thank you very much for these positive leads, You did a lot of homework to get us these leads and it is very much appreciated. thank you again.

I am told they cannot make these items without holes on one side. I use to get latex items without holes on the side, but it seems the creative people do not know the old methods used by the previous makers.
The person that made these items commented some time ago on the Café. He had a site with the items, he is in another country. The man who use to make latex items is no longer with us, so this is the only things that are available. If you want solid items that do not squash, Dan Sperry sells his idea, but they are foam items. He uses a little different method for his version. Here is latex oranges and lemons, that's what the site says. http://www.furnituregourmet.com/catalog/......odxRL16w Here is another site: http://www.zimmermanmarketplace.com/Arti......uits.php |
