I am posting an explanation to the switch, as that is the hardest portion for me to explain in words. With my magic back ground, I feel safe to say the switch is deceptive and more importantly, natural. I find that I concentrate on motivation for switches more often then the actual act, perhaps there is a grain of worth to the mental community within my handeling.
Ugh, posting the video to a private youtube account. If anyone would like to critique the move PM me and I will send them the link. Thank you for all of the PM's, I look forward to feedback |

Thank you, Billy.
That particular technique is used by many for billet work, and has been mentioned in many books on the subject, as well as on this board from time to time. Personally, I am terrible at that technique, but you do it much better than me, with nicely motivated actions. I can see how it would work nicely with your routine too. |

Elliott,
I assumed the switch was not original, its very similar to many magic moves and it was the first concept I arrived at when thinking about switching a billet, so to assume nobody else has considered it would be awefully vein. The aspects that I wanted to share are the motivations, or at least the idea of having motivations for switches or other moves, it seems that even many pros neglect said details. |
