I am trying to learn to palm one coin in classic palm when I have several other coins in my hand at the same time. I am learning from David Roth's DVD, and just can't seem to get this down at all...Any hints, tips or advice on this one?

It's just practice, you'll get it down.

It's mostly just practice, but if you're feeling stuck, you need alert practice, not just repetition. Try to figure out exactly what aspect of it is giving you trouble, and why. Focus your practice on fixing that, for a while.

Yeah, it's a pain. You might want want to practice by just adding one coin at a time. For example, practice palming 2 coins (only) for a week then 3 coins the next week, etc. Yes, I said a week. Learning a CP well takes a LOT of time.
Also, as suggested, consider using a different palm (depending on the trick, of course). A FP is pretty easy even with several coins. Mr. T. Nelson Downs may also have an idea. You may also want to re-analyze the effect you desire. I changed part of a multiple coin routine not by a sleight but by a SLY bluff ala Slydini. It is easier for me to do, even though a little brazen, and appears to be real magic, very convincing to the audience. If you are going to continue using multiple coins in your routines, I recommend a purchase of Buckley's book Principles And Deceptions if you don't have it already.

Oops, I didn't read your original post close enough. The same practice principle works. While classic palming one coin in your hand just hold or display one additional coin in the same hand for a day or two. Then add another coin the next day. Then the next day. Yes, I said DAY or two. This is easier than palming multiple coins, but still takes time. Either scenario you are developing muscle memory. That's why IMO and from my experience it takes time and using incremental adjustments. In this case, adding a coin at a time.
