Hope everyone is doing well, I wanted to give a big thank you to Bob Sanders and Lucy for putting on this great event. Also a thank you to all the performers and lecturers and vendors who helped to put it all together. To all who are reading this if you missed it you missed a great (FREE) conference! I bought around $1,000.00 worth of props for around $150 bucks, but that's not even the best part. The performers/lecturers were awesome and very educating to the profession, coming from several different states including Georgia, Texas, Denver Colorado, Arkansas and I think a couple others not for sure. We had the best time and this was not our first conference. I took my wife and kids along and they had every bit as much fun as I did, from David Ginn's kid show to a beautiful Native American inspired finish by Autumn Morning Star, it was fun from start to finish if this trip didn't fit your schedule this year I would definitely recommend going next year I'll see you there! |

It WAS great!! We all had a blast and learned a lot! TJ, we all loved meeting your wife and kids. I do hope you will pursue the character development that we talked about. Keep on posting here on The Café'. This is a fabulous resource!

Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.

One of the funniest acts there was the MC for the night shows.
Kyle Jarrard is one to see (and hear!). Magic Valley Magic would never be the same without him. He and James Adamson are two of my favorite "road warriors" on magic tours. Bob Click here to view attached image. |

And these two (Autumn and Kyle) actually have had a possum for a pet!
Even that is a "stretch". Magician get togethers make us all "New to Magic". Recalling "normal" gets hard to define. (A great reason to attend the ones that you can.) (Can you cut a limo in half?) Click here to view attached image. |

Wow.
When I first heard of this, I had just become homeless. I had just lost everything I owned (house foreclosure), and was in a shelter for the winter. I have recovered! Maybe next year, eh? I should have repurchased quite a bit that I lost by that time! Hey Bob, are your silk prices still the same? Doug |

Doug,
We will be looking for you. Magicians from the Magic Café even had special buttons! Here being "New to Magic" describes all of us. Everyday is a new adventure in magic. Opportunities to meet other magicians even makes it better. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

I will try and make it next year Bob. If I did not already have a picture of you and I together, I would have surely made it there this year. Please tell Lucy I said "Hi".
