I am looking for a 20" red silk. I find that 18" silks are really 17" and 24" are really 23". What I need is a true 20" silk. Does anyone have one or know where I can get one.
thanks. |

Peter,
For antique magic props, I recently had some special silks made in China that are 15" and 21". The 21" is actually 19 7/8" finished size! I have twenty of the red ones left. They are $6.50/each and there are eleven other colors too. Interestingly, the pros are also using them to substitute in Silk to Egg for the Cody Fisher routine because they look like a 24" but are easy for an amateur to stuff into my ceramic gimmicked egg. Perhaps I should add them back to the inventory. They were likely the first new silks that size since the 70s. A real difference is that these have the good 2mm hems! Life changes! Please let me know if I can help you. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Any silk size given is the raw unhemmed size. Basically, you can lose about 1" in size due to hemming.
