Hey all,
I am interested in the different methods of the rising card which can be done in the spectators hand, either in the box or the deck itself. I have a beautiful Martini's RC gimmick but I am looking for something that will allow me to spread through the whole deck, fan it, and allow for a fairer selection process. Also it would be nice if the spectator can remove the selection after the rise and give it a feel. Sequentially allowing me to display the cards again. I appreciate any direction given. |

For instance, can you work this in the specs hand? And also get a full spread or fan?

I had Gary Oisten make a Devano style gimmick which is extremely thin. You simply can't notice anything in the deck. Even his standard gimmick would be thin enough to escape notice. You'd want him to either make a version that uses pins to lift the selection, rather than adhesive, or do as I did, attach a small bit of sandpaper to push the selection. Either way, the spectator could remove the selection.

Kundalini Rising is excellent. I even put a clear plastic bag over the spectators hand.

Go with Henry Evan's Rising Card... Can be done in the spectators hand, either in the box or the deck itself. Spectator can remove the selection after the rise and give it a feel. Sequentially allowing you to display the cards again. Carry it with me all the time.

With Kundalini Rising the spectator can also take the selected card and the deck can be handled by them as well.
