Thanks Hushai - glad you're enjoying Divinorum and are finding the training app useful. It certainly saves a lot of time not having to mix up the cards manually when practicing.
Using Jack, Queen, King for the 3-item version works very well, especially as you can divine the gender of each card before revealing its identity. You could even banter with the spectator a little about whether s/he has chosen a man and woman, or two men! And, if the Queen is under the left hand, you could also talk about the traditional associations between female/left and male/right. Ace, 2, 3 is another option - though perhaps less interesting than using J, Q, K. However, if you want to extend the presentation, beginning with 3 items and then adding a fourth and possibly fifth, then it makes sense to start with Ace, 2, 3. Mike |

Mike,
Is Baxter's RPS Entity, which you reference in your book, still available anywhere? I haven't been able to find it, and you've got me curious about it. |

Hushai,
RPS Entity used to be available as a PDF (I bought it in 2010) but doesn't seem to be carried by anyone any more. Mike |

A revised and expanded third edition of my mentalism effect "Divinorum" is now available at Lybrary. Purchasers of the earlier editions can download this for free.
http://www.lybrary.com/divinorum-p-107076.html The new edition includes a brilliant new method for 4- and 5-item sets discovered by my friend Biagio Fasano and included with his permission. Mike |

With just a little practice using the training app, I think you will find the new modular method for 4- and 5-item sets is a lot easier and quicker than the alternative counting method (I certainly do). I especially like using it with the standard five ESP cards which are naturally numbered to begin with. It also helps a lot to be able to ignore the Star.
But different people have different thought processes and some may prefer the original counting method (which is why it is still included). Of course, the easiest option by far is to stick with three-item sets, where the method requires almost no mental effort at all. Mike |

I picked this up a few years ago. Love it. This is the kind of thing I really enjoy.
