Thank you very much Dr. Bob!
I'm feeling a bit less ignorant this season! I have a Cruz Tablet, that I had planned on using for reading my books, however I really like the feel of a good old book in my greedy little paws. |

BYW, Amazon is now carrying the Royal Road to Card Magic (Hugard), our Magic (Devant), the Fitzkee Trilogy and most of Jim Steinmeyer's stuff on Kindle

So I went crazy and bought a Kindle.
I'm getting old, but getting young at the same time. |

I have an early version of Kindle Fire HD 8.9". I take it with me when I'm having my car serviced and read quite a few books. You can change the background and font colors and set book marks so you know where you left off. There are quite a few things you can do with the kindle however you almost need to be an expert to figure them out. I have found amazon kindle support to be very helpful with this. The only real downside to the earlier version is the camera. It only has a rear facing camera which is good for skype but not for taking pictures.
If you have an earlier version and update to a newer model, there is no downloading from one to the other. All of your information, games, documents etc are automatically available on the new unit.
