Hey lads,
How's the craic? Just thought throw up some montage footage of our recent live shows. It would'nt be everyones cup of tea here but shur take a look if your free! Clip : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKteN92-c9g Over the next 3 weeks I'm up the walls with solo stuff, actually have my biggest corp gig yet (700-800 guests) so Im looking forward to that. I've taken my mindreading down a different path and as you can see in the clip above, my double act with Conn is a little off center but it's actually begining to gain bit of a following. My solo stuff has become less "commercial" too but so far so good. I should explain towards the end of the clip (linked above) Conn is hypnotised by me, as a result my spirit guide Charlie Robinson enters his body and control his actions ( The above clip dosent spell this out) Any feedback good or bad is always most welcomed! Thanks, Pete |

I'd really love to come to one of your shows,Pete.
I imagine they are crazy mix of chaos and hilarity. Like you said, probably there will be some who won't like it at all. But hey, you look like you're having fun and so do the audiences. steve |

Pete,
I guess I don't get it. It seemed disjointed and kind of hard to watch. I imagine this has a lot to do with the cuts/editing of the clip. I really love injecting profanity in an act, perhaps this seems weird but I like blue performers....but I still was left a bit confused after watching the clip. I think its something to do with the chemistry between yourself and partner. Just a thought, but have you ever considered wearing a suit while your more animated partner dresses down? I think if you played it more straight and he was the "wild" one, then perhaps I could see something within the act. I hope very much so that you understand that its not my intention to critique a worker, becuse you know better then me what works for you and how you get paid. Also, it may just be a culture barrier....either way, I thank you for posting a clip. Respect, Billy |

Heey Billy,
Thanks very much for the post! Our show is a complete mix of totally different pieces, with the pace often going from frantic to dead slow. Through out the show we go from huge belly laughs to complete awkward chuckles and sometimes to stunned silence. In a comedy envirnoment I often dress down and for these shows the clothing was chose was due to one specific piece in the set. In my normal solo gigs I always wear a suit. I guess our act dosent really have a straight man..both of us have our moments of being idiots and a little bit off. Our intention is to give the audience an experience, something they wont forget in a hurry which in some cases without doubt would be a negative one 9not everyone will get it). We can split a room but for us at this moment we like being true to our vision and are getting a bit of a following. My own solo stuff is not as "hectic" as our duo act though it would be also a little off due to the dark comedy mixed with comple nonsense notions that I introduce through out the act. Anyways before I totally bore you thanks very much for the words, you make very valid points and I guess the show is a little disjointed but by design if that makes sense? Thanks for the feedback! Pete,
I get it now and I can dig it. I just like the idea of having a straight man, not that I have ANY exerpience in working with another performer. I wish I could see the entire show, as the disjointed nature must be increased by only seeing clips. Either way, I like what your thinking about and doing about it, good luck bro! Respect, Billy |
