Penguin's daily "Blue Box" special has this for only $14.95, so I picked it up today. For that price, it's worth looking into!

I had to get in on this Penguin has it at 83% (under $5.00) in their cool box. Tell me this isn't a phenomenal deal for a packet trick that packs that many pulse-pumping visuals! (pat on back for good purchase). For $30.00 I passed, for under $5.00 I dive in head first!

I bought this awhile back and forgot about it...I just popped it in the DVD and it has become immediately my favorite packet trick ever. I loved the Asher Twist version I went ahead and ordered it as well (the DVD sends you to LeeAsher.com if you want to learn this extra method. Very reasonably priced for something you can use every day in addition to the BackTwist)
Anyway, I must say the combination of known techniques in this trick is unique and AMAZING. People will go "oh, he's just using double backed cards or something" until you turn all four over and show them to be 4 of a kind...IMPOSSIBLE! Bravo, Mathieu...I stopped doing packet tricks ages ago but I'm adding this to my every-day carry around.

I got this and have been practicing it quite a bit. You are not using too many extra cards and they are hidden pretty well. The ideal angle is as per the demo video. The dvd is well shot and explains things very well. There are three handlings taught as well as the ASHER TWIST performance. That method as said must be purchased seperately. Now the cards will wear and need to be replaced but if you store them as he suggests, will last much longer. Yes you can make them, but the cards provided work better than anything you can create unless you find the secret sauce. This is a GREAT effect and when done correctly floors people. But I am not sure it is worth thirty bucks so I bought it from the cool box on penguin too. The replacement cards are also over priced. $15.00.

This is a beautiful effect, the classic handling is the best.
The Classic Handling is not too difficult to get down, though worth practicing to get it smooth. Will be looking to perform this to music as an opening effect. |

Mathieu will be doing his Penguin Live lecture this Sunday. It is not on his set list but maybe someone called tweet a question about it and get him to demo & teach it for us.
