Cirrus,

Stop being melodramatic!
There's a difference between asking "where to look" and "tell me how to do it."
Your request in your original post is a near impossibility. So, if one or more of us had that information, don't you think we'd be hard pressed to just spit it out to you? Come on man. Do some research on your own. Maybe if you tell us all the places you've looked and can't seem to find the answer, then maybe we'll help you out. But, I for one, will not do your research for you.

Like I said in an earlier post, let us know what you find, because you are standing at the foot of a very tall mountain. Climb my boy, climb!

Ok, I'm sorry. I will do that in later posts I make. But accusing me of only taking is a bit harsch I think.
So that's something I learned to do bizarre already, my sense of drama (sorry for the joke).

Well, I have done something quite close to that. A short 20 minutes mentalism show based on the totems of the film Inception.
I start showing a "sixth totem" - a badge - explaining the concept of totems in the movie. Then I show the five main totems: Mal's Top, Ariadne's Bishop, Arthur's Loaded Die, Earnes'casino chips and Cobb's ring.

http://inception.wikia.com/wiki/Totem

Quote:
A Totem is an object that is used to test if oneself is in one's own reality (dream or non-dream) and not in another person's dream. A Totem has a specially modified weight, balance, or feel in the real world but in a dream of someone who does not know it well, the characteristics of the totem will very likely be off. In order to protect its integrity, only the totem's owner should ever handle it. That way, the owner is able to tell whether or not they are in someone else's dream. In the owner's own dream world, the totem will feel correct. Any ordinary object which has been in some way modified to affect its balance, weight, or feel will work as a totem.

¡Dom Cobb's totem is a spinning tractricoid top that originally belonged to Mal. Should he spin the top and it topples over, he is awake; if it continues to spin, then he is still dreaming.
¡Ariadne's totem is a slightly hollowed-out golden bishop chess piece. She deliberately hollows it out to alter its weight and center of gravity, so that only she can know the exact weight and feel of her totem.
¡Arthur's totem is a weighted red die. The purpose of the loaded die is to make one side heavier than the rest; therefore when rolled the heavy side will flip down and only the opposite side can face up. Should the upright side of the die be different than the original, he will know he is dreaming.
¡Eames' totem is a red casino poker chip. The use of the poker chip is not entirely clear in the movie.

Each totem works a certain way in reality and in one's dream. During the performance, I show the workings of all the totems. The spectator freely chooses one and the sixth totem enters an alternate reality.
The show then continue with another possible totem, an experience about the structure of dreams and then goes into a X-mentalism show.

Nice, Mr. Chelman, really nice. That gives me some presentational idea's for my own wicca-themed-performance.
