I actually enjoy performing both in a single performance. I keep my show very light hearted and have found that keeps the door open to perform mentalism as well as magic. But I guess what ever you feel more comfortable with and are better at performing.
Good magic to all, Eric |

This is the second thread I have seen lately by the OP,and never adds anything to his own post! We are on page 6...Did OP leave the building?
Come play with us...What is your opinion, and why?

He's still here, I think he is selling an ebook on something. Maybe these threads are for his next one. Tony |

Thank you Tony!
And, you have also sent me on a Journey and Quest from another thread ...with the information you supplied! Gary

The other thread he started was the one in which he asked if we would consider buying a one page "manuscript" if it was groundbreaking material. He never posted after his first post on that one either, leading me to agree that we are probably looking at marketing research and not an effort to engage in a serious discussion.
I wrote quite a bit in this thread, and I trust that my ideas and suggestions won't end up appearing in a book he may be writing. I charge for that. Good thoughts, Bob |

Bob,
You got me. Godzilla, I have not left this thread. Truth be told, I've been paying attention rather than running my mouth. God gave us two ears and one mouth. Well, this doesn't apply so much to a magic forum, but you get my point. The thread did prove to be rather interesting. If you'd like my opinion I'll gladly offer it here. My opinion about my question is mixed. In some ways, magic and mentalism are merging, which is partly attributable to people's misunderstanding of the definition of mentalism. Dan Harlan said it better than I ever could. However, there are many contemporary artists keeping the art of mentalism alive. And for that, I'm very thankful.
"The Swan Song" is my last release to the mentalism community. Only a few copies remain!
"Unholy Grail" is now available! Features Perfected Day for Any Date, Ultimate PK Touches, Triple Drawing Duplication, and The Presence (my ghost effect)! Everything is 100% prop-less! "Tres" LIMITED EDITION e-Book contains my signature "No Touches" PK Touches! Now SOLD OUT! "Reverie" is for sale! Features extremely strong, 100% prop-less mentalism effects! "Secret Files" is NOW AVAILABLE directly through me. Contains the EASIEST DAY FOR ANY DATE version!!! |

OTTOEMEZZO, Yes,I wanted to hear your opinion! As the question you asked for the post,I can only assume you wanted to hear the opinion of others! I also wanted you to know,I have taken the time to listen to what you had to say!

OTTOEMEZZO-
Glad to see you are here. I agree with you about the misunderstanding that exists among magicians regarding mentalism. Bob |
