Hi !
Just some suggestions if you want good sources to inspire your magic, scripts, storytelling etc...or just for fun if you have a little bit of time during holidays. These great spooky Christmas tales, by more or less famous writers : The Christmas banquet by Nathaniel Hawthorne http://www.online-literature.com/hawthorne/2997/ A christmas Tree by Charles Dickens http://www.classicreader.com/book/876/1/ The dead sexton by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu http://www.horrormasters.com/Text/a2351.pdf Markheim by Robert Louis Stevenson (my favourite)http://www.eastoftheweb.com/short-stories/UBooks/Mark.shtml Their dear little ghost by Elia Wilkinson Peattie http://moonlightstories.magick7.com/1/1134.htm For those who can read french, I suggest "Le Noël du petit joueur de violon" by the belgian author Camille Lemonnier http://www.miscellanees.com/l/lemonier.htm or the short "Conte de Noël" by Guy de Maupassant http://feeclochette.chez.com/Divers/contenoel.htm) You will chill and thrill for Christmas...but not because of the cold.. Enjoy !! |
