Hi all
I am interested to know how people deal with a cyclical stack after performing an effect. I am concerned that someone will ask to examine the pack. Until now I would only do one effect using the stack and then true shuffle the pack straight afterwards in case anyone asks to see the deck. Would anyone deal with this differently? If you don't want the spectator to examine the deck, what would your response be? Would anyone switch decks immediately after for a clean deck they can use? Thanks for your input? Tim |

Why not just hand them the pack?
For example, how many folks do you think would recognize a Stebbins setup? Brian

And there are certainly cyclic stacks that are a lot more difficult to detect than the old Si Stebbins scheme. When Eugene Burger was first shown a deck arranged in DAO stack order, told that it was a stack, and challenged to find any ordering, he was unable to do so after close to ten minutes of examination. So you can imagine what luck "regular" audiences would have!
