I would have filed a claim with the parent's home insurance company and had extensive tests on my back performed; problems occur months later that may have resulted from the attack, then it’s too late

I think you did the right thing. You gave the brat plenty of chances and he blew it. Mom blew it and now has to deal with the brat for the rest of her life.

I feel sorry for her.

As I look back on this. I see that you are right. It was assault. At the time I was afraid to say anything to our contact person. I didn't want to lose our contract for causing
trouble.
