I've recently put the Ker-Plunk wand into my shows, and have to say, it's really a fabulous bit of comedy. The kids absolutely go nuts when the tip repeatedly falls off, and it's SO easy to operate. The wand tip also gets stuck on your finger, and there are loads of other bits of business that can be created around this. There's a very magical moment when after the tip gets stuck on the side of the wand, the kids make the magic happen, and the tip slips around into place on the end! Of course, it immediately falls off again....
Possibly one of the finest comedy wands I've ever owned, and beautifully, sturdily constructed. I guarantee that you'll put this into your shows, I 've had mine for some while, but took some time to get around to using it, as I thought it would take practise - wrong - it takes almost no practise at all, you can use the wand almost straight out of the box. Tommy is the master of comedy wands, I've decided to get his Measle-Teasle Wand to complete my set. Potty |

I never thought of having the tip fall off again after the kids just made it go back on. that's a great idea. I am so glad that Robert Blake from the Netherlands shared his idea of using nesting bags for this wand. It really is different and completes this routine. Here is how I have incorporated it into my own show. In the beginning of the show I perform the wand routine. The kids fix it. "Great! Now we can continue the show!" I then perform a trick, then bring up my first volunteer. When it is time for a wand, I bring the wand back out and hand it to them and make the tip fall off as they touch it. "No problem! I have some GLUE!" I bring out my new Elmo's Squirting glue bottle and ask the child to hold the glue bottle. As they do, I squirt them! LOL!!!! I then look into the tip of the wand and state "Made in China!" and put it away and bring out another wand. My new glue bottle will literally squirt a string two feet straight out of the bottle, so you don't even have to be close to the helper to do this. I have searched and found the perfect bottle, the right size string and made a hole in the tip just large enough to make the string fly straight out of the bottle. Check out the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Wq35_4u6fw This whole routine will be on my new Birthday Party DVD coming out in late September/early October.

Tommy, just got my Ker Plunk Wand in the mail today. WOW! This thing is the bomb ! So easy to use, and the possibilities are endless. Your routine is hilarious, and pretty much what made me order the wand, but I can already envision more things that can be done with it. It is rare that something so simple yet with so much potential comes along. Love this wand. I have been using the Measle Teasle for some time, and it gets such an awesome response from my young audiences. I can see that the Ker Plunk will be equally valuable to my show...

Trumpetman, it's great that you love your "Ker-Plunk!" wand. Pleeeeze, don't wait months (as I did) before using it. This wand is SO easy to use, a bit like a BW wand, but new and original...not to mention, far superior quality than any BW wand I've owned.

Use it I shall Sir Potty
In fact, I stopped working on a routine for it to type this reply, and it hasn't even been out of the shipping tube for an hour yet, LOL !
