being a Dutch (that explains my English ventriloquist and magician I like to buy stuff from all over the world. Most of the time this gives me no problems. Unfortunately I've had two bad experiences with buying on the internet. I would like to share that with you, so you won't lose your money the same way.

The first problem I had was with FrontPaige productions (Paige Parnell). I paid $274 for two ventmasks. I never received them and I never got any answers from her..... Now the website doesn't even exist anymore I think.

The second problem I had was with Monsterpuppets.com. In june 2010 I ordered a Monster (Gus). I paid $505 for a puppet with blinkers. Now, more than one and a half years later, I still don't have a puppet. I have send many mails and he answered everytime that he''is almost done''. After a year or so, I asked my money back, because I bought a puppet somewhere else for my show. He couln't do that he said.


Sorry to bother you with this, but I am really disappointed. Maybe you have the same or different expierences with this....

I have no experience with either, and while I'm always sorry to read about someone getting burned like this, I'm also glad when they take the time to warn others.

I also had a bad experience with a puppet maker... until now, despite the fact that I have tried fixing the problems, the puppet remains not a joy to use. I lost hard earned money. Nevertheless , I think my case was an isolated case and other buyers love their purchases. Good for them
