Ken used lemons... he'd buy them from a street vendor a block or two from his shop.

I like this cup (Ken Brooke aluminum satin). I believe I will purchase one.
Daren, what color and size balls did you get?

Go to you tube and watch Paul Daniels' routine. Second choice would be red.

Ken also used white. This is also the best colour for stage/cabaret work - you get better visibility (even with an aluminium cup).
One point to watch for. If you work restaurants and/or weddings; unless you use a close-up mat, then be aware that you could be working on a white table cloth. To this end, I'd buy a white and a red set. Considering the price you are paying for the cup, 2 sets of balls aren't going to break the bank. It's also useful to always have a set in reserve for WHEN (not IF) a ball rolls off somewhere that you either can't find or retrieve it easily from.

Is your heart set on aluminium? Or would you dig a nice copper one?

Sorry I missed your emails Wayne, I just answered a few messages about out of stock items this morning. I try to keep a selection in stock at all times, but time and money can wreck havoc on my production schedule. I really can't tell you when an out of stock item will be back in stock, unless it's an item I'm working on right now...
The Ken Brooke Master Chop Cup in Aluminum IS in my production queue - but probably won't be ready for a month. A large run of them in Copper was produced earlier this year, and I had plenty of Aluminum at that time, so I didn't do any in Aluminum. Bright Chromed copper sold out pretty fast so I'm plating more Bright Chrome right now, but Antique Bronze is what I'm working on currently. I'd like to put an Antique Bronze Finish on the Ken Brooke Master (and Junior) Cup. |
