I'm looking for the plastic boxes like the ones used for Tenyo's Burglar Ball, Color Cube, and other similar effects. The box is perfectly square with a lid that comes down evenly over any side. I've tried ordering some, but either the lids rest on a lip on one side, or the boxes are not squared off on all the corners, or the dimensions are square only with the lid on vice the same height on each side with the lid off.
I'm looking for 3, 4, and 5 inch clear plastic. Any recommendations? Ed |

Ed,
http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=222 also check shops that sell collectible baseball cards. I seen a nice clear box that holds a signed golf ball and baseball that is square. Some of these do not have the x brace molded into the bottom. Hope this helps. |

I ordered one of theirs before. They don't have the range of sizes nor the no-lip lids (except by special order, and I'm just looking for a one-off).
I've tried the display cases too. Again, the lid was usually the sticky point. Ed |

I'm going to be near a Hobby Lobby in a few weeks - I'll check them out. Thanks.
I just looked on their web site, though, and didn't see any. Searched "plastic box". Closest I came to was "display cases"; only the baseball case looks square and it's a two-piece pull-apart, not one with a lid. Am I missing something? Ed |

Yeah, they were in a weird place in the store; over by the glassware for candlemaking/sandsculptures. I'll probably be popping in there later today, I'll see if I can get some inventory numbers for you.
