OK, so I'm trying to work up a routine around the concept of heating up cards with your brain-power, it'll start with 8 card brainwave (ETMCM#1) just to get over the concept that the cards will be changing colour, follow up with red hot mamma (ETMCM#1) and end with the simple Colour Fusion effect (expertmagic.com).
The constant theme here is that if you think hard enough about a card it'll heat up and turn red. To complete the act I'd like another trick with a similar (card goes from blue -> red) effect. Could somebody suggest a suitable trick? Oh, I'd rather that it is a sleight of hand effect, not a gimmick. I'd really appreciate any recommendation that anybody has (yeah, this whole idea came about 'cos I just got Colour Fusion and want an excuse to use it ) |

You could do color changes from black to red, (King of spades to king of hearts) And you might want to end with some sort of deck switch/change. (Blue deck to red deck)

How bout this:
"heat" up the card by rubbing it using an erdnase colour change. Then do a KM move followed by a twirl change, waving the card in the air to 'cool' it down and turn it back to black |

Thanks for all the great suggestions!
This is turning from an idle idea into a routine that could actually work! The idea of heating the front of a card by rubbing is fantastic, and ending with an entire deck swap would be mind blowing -- if done corectly, of course p.s. I'm not familiar with 'Thought Sender' could you describe the effect, please, zombieboy? |

As a closer hold a lighter to the pack and vanish it in a flash of light. I'm sure you can work out a method. If not PM me for inspiration.

Card coulour changes are very cool, I have a trick invented by my self(???? I have some doubts about this) called SPRAY where I use a card colour change, and all the people that watched the trick ask me HOW DO YOU DO THAT
