With the economy being the way it is, how did you do throughout the year? My mentalism gigs were slow. I had no choice, I had to rely on magic gigs. At times it made me wish I had a 40 hour a week job.

My mentalism gigs picked up only because I had more spare time due to slow convention work for the Blues Brothers. But I have an answer!

My gigs pretty much stopped due to me giving birth to twins, but it was the most magical year of my life

Despite the economy I secured a day job in 2011 and I'm still with the same company. The pay actually allows me to spend more time (and money on magic and mentalism). Going to my first lecture tonight thanks to the job.

Releases went very well, good feedback, all four made it into Jheff's best releases of 2011... small gigs and readings were cosy and fun, kinda sad to stop it all for the first half of this year - but excited to give writing a full on go... worked with some great people, helped out some new and old friends, felt generally warm and fuzzy...detritus left where it belongs...
