Why did they not use the same gimmick in the cover as in Crash Dice?
I am having a hard to get it to work. I looked at the video and the guy is shaking the thing rigorously. Does not seem so magical. Any tips on getting it to work easier. Thanks AA |

I broke off the clips and added a flat business card magnet.
It works better. Not perfect yet. And the brown magnet is identifiable so I may paint it or put some thin plastic on top so I can pass it out at the end. |

I just got this and agree with AA.
Before I start noodling with the gimmick, any one try any other modifications that they are happy with? Or any other handlings that improve the performance?? Thanks for any ideas. Ed |

I couldn't agree more. The gimmick in the lid is very disappointing, and pulling on the string while rotating it isn't very magical. The gimmick in base is nicely constructed, and I cannot understand why the one in the lid is so poorly conceived. I was thinking about another version of the trick that wouldn't use a lid at all.

Leave your ring inside the gimmick for a few weeks, it will loosen up. I also noticed one ring is a litle bit smaller then the other one, but this is probably not intended.
The idea of using magnets is much better however. I suppose you already read Shigeru Sugawara' tip/improvement on Tenyoworld. |

I Think Tenyo make this lid just to keep the price to what they have expected, as usual. A history of compromise.
