Hi all,
I'm going to be purchasing my first ACAAN product and after MUCH reading, searching and watching I have decided to either go for ACAAB by Boris Wild or THiNK by Shin Lim. I know which way I'm leaning (won't say yet, don't want to influence and replies ) but I would like to know what you guys THiNK (no pun intended). Has anyone used these products? Has anyone used or have seen BOTH these products and able to pass an informed opinion on both? Thanks guys and I will of course let you know which I decide to buy. AA

I have been experimenting with the Grail. Very strait forward for an effect. The DVD has wonderful performance ideas including one for the stage. Think as I understand is similar method that allows everything to be done in the spectators hands. I think you would be happy with both. I demonstrated The Grail at our last club meeting and it seemed to have everyone fooled pretty good. Hope this helps.

I'd go for ACAAB , because it is more personal to them, you're cleaner at the end, and it's good for patter.

I've seen the tutorial for Think and I didn't like it. Too much of a pain to setup and learn etc. If you can do it, it looks cool but personally it wasn't for me AT ALL! I've seen better, simpler ACAAN tricks that looks just as good.

Barrie Richardson's book "Curtain Call" has a spectacularly clever ACCAN routine. No set up. Do anywhere, anytime, etc. Spectators can shuffle deck before hand, etc. Very cool,

Thank you for all your advice guys, I really appreciate it! Well I eventually decided and opted to plump for.....
***Boris Wild's ACAAB (Any Card At Any Birthday)*** For those who do not know the effect check out these two clips - 1) Wizard Product Review demo (first review) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXA0GjWEB......a_player 2) Performance by Boris Wild himself - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiysNd9eA......a_player I understand that it is not "The Holy Grail" effect that magicians have been striving to achieve, in fact there are other products mentioned in this thread that are closer to simply any named card being at any named number. However, I love this effect, I think the birthday routine personalises it for the audience and it is very strong when performed well. The book is very well written and I really enjoyed reading it (and I'm not a reader!) and made a nice change to watching a DVD. Pocket space may be an issue for some but as a hobbyist it doesn't effect me so much right now. Thanks again guys, check it out if you like the performances and well done Mr Wild!! AA
