I have been working on a routine that I'm not sure where it will end up. I asked about CSB in another thread but it is mutating into something different that I'm actually beginning to like it, but it's closer to Wild Coin. My question is this, is a C/S coin, Johnson in this case, compatible with any E. Penny shells. I am using a substitute right now for working it out but I have the sneaking suspicion that I may have to have this gaff custom made. I don't have a regular Exp E. Penny so I cannot confirm. Can anyone shed some light on this.
Thanks in advance, Rob

Dave,
I am not that familiar with the sun/moon coin. I have a hopping half set by Johnson, that's what I'm using as a substitute at the moment. The problem is that the shell on the penny is too big when put on a regular or C/S coin. Also it is not deep enough to completely cover the coin like the CCS or the CSB gimmick. BTW: shoot me a PM regarding the booklet, forgot to email ya.

It's The cut down Copper/silver With the Non- exspanded Shell! That the E.P. exspanded shell fits over!

Robert, In reality you have to experiment with all expanded shells because manufacturers differ and coins are not consistent. You may experience what many of us have; where an X shell works great with four coins but gets stuck with a fifth coin. That's a pain! You may have the opposite where an X shell is too loose for your liking with one coin. I create sets of five or six coins I know work well with each X shell for various routines KNOWING I won't have unpleasant surprises.
