It's a free trick from Magic Depot with all orders over $50.00.
Sounds very interesting! Any reviews or comments? IMPROMPTU MAGNETIC ROCKS makes small, non-metallic objects feel magnetic in your spectator's hands! Without gimmicks, switches, glue, tape, or any sleight of hand whatsoever, you can give two rocks, sticks, dice, and even cell phones a temporary feeling of magnetism! Imagine asking a neighborhood kid to select any two rocks off the ground and you magically "magnetize" the rocks right in their hands! A dirt-simple technique that creates the illusion you have incredible powers. Instant amazement and total disbelief! • Ordinary rocks made magical! • Zero Sleight of Hand! No Gimmicks! • Perform this trick anywhere, impromptu! • Works with all sorts of small objects! You will learn how to make non-metallic objects feel magnetic to one another temporarily! This isn't a geology experiment, it is a biology demonstration in secret. Better yet, psychology at its best! "I was impressed! From such a small secret unfolds such a big trick!" – Gerald Kirchner (Magic City, Inc) Impromptu Magnetic Rocks is a short little book you can read from cover to cover, word for word, in just five minutes! Perform Impromptu Magnetic Rocks closeup, stage, even over the phone and on TV!

Gitty,
This sounds exactly like a trick we would do to each other on my grade school playground. It is nothing more than muscle memory and strain. Press two stones/rocks together for one minute with all your might at chest level. Then slowly try to pull them apart. They will feel magnetic. Works just as well pushing two pencils erasers together.

Wow, that really works. I just did it with a couple of sharpies. We don't know that that is what is being taught in the booklet but it does work.
I often show the one where you stand in a narrow doorway with your hands at your side, then push out on the doorway with the backs of your hands for one minute. No bending your elbows. After a minute step out of the doorway and relax your hands. They will feel very light as if they are being pulled upward. |
