I've been receiving emails and Facebook messages asking about why my website is no longer running. So I thought I'd come here and explain what's going on.
The truth is I really haven't had that much of a drive for magic in the last couple of years. I still perform a little but I really haven't put much focus on magic lately. Any of you that have seen me perform would know how big of a part my deafness played in my performances. A good portion of my jokes and routines where based on the fact that I'm deaf. It was a result of over twenty years of performing style evolution. But of course that has somewhat changed now that I can hear again. I'm in no way saying that I'm no longer a magician and I do still feel the bite of the magic bug from time to time. But it just hasn't been my main focus in life. In order to create a new performing style and adjust to the changes my ability to hear again. My first step is to adjust to the new way of life. I have to get use to being able to "hear" what's going on around me. Especially all the sounds you hear while in front of an audience. Before the sounds of an audience didn't have any effect on me. I performed to my own rhythm but now I hear the room and am learning to adjust to my audiences. There are just so many things to adjust to that it's going to take time. But lately I have been performing more. I'm working on a new website that should be up and running in the next few weeks. But the website will be more of a homepage then a "magic site". It'll have a section on my magic as far as performing as well as a section for magic products. But it'll also have sections on my other interests and services such as graphic design work, deafness and cochlear implants and my interest in captioning Internet content. I've also had some family issue that have been heavily in my mind such as my sister battling a brain tumor. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still around but just not as active in the magic world as I use to be. As much as I love magic and still find myself discussing magic ideas with my closest magician friends from time to time. It just hasn't been my main focus in life. But I'm slowly getting back into it. So I'm sure you'll slowly start to see me around here a little more now. Ron Jaxon |

Ron, This is so exciting about your new life. I'm a musician---hope you're catching up to the millions of unique audio sensations.
And MANY here have left magic and come back later. Prayers to you and your family for your sister.

I guess that would be a huge adjustment to make. Hope all goes well for you and your family.
Keep us in the loop.
I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.
