I was wondering if anyone knows what tape or book this is in, I want to add it to a routine of mine but can't find out what it's on.

I believe Michael Ammar published it in one of the Magical Arts Journals around 1983 or so. Not positive about the date.

At Michael's site, he is selling individual copies of each MAJ as a download, and I think the one in which he teaches his variation on Kalush's Rubber Ringer is a free download (it's issue #1). Hope that helps - it's a great effect.

I see you've already bought Ammar's version, but Kalush's Rubber Ringer can also be found in the Collected Almanac (April 1983).

I just wanted to let everyone know of one other place I found another version of this effect that does not involve having to hold on to the ring the entire time. It's in Mike Powers Close-Up Variety Pack. I don't know if its still sold I bought at his lecture sometime between 1995-1999.

It's also in Magic with Finger Rings by Jerry Metzer. Lot of other good stuff in there as well.
