Has anyone used/seen one of these? Go to http://www.chazpro.com/Coin_Magic/Coin_Magic5.html and scroll down to MINT CONDITION. I would love to be able to show both sides of a s****.

Yes, it's nice in theory, and a waste of money in reality.

To get back on the topic at hand, I'm almost certain I'm going to get an unexpanded s*** appropriate mates, since I know the quality will be, at least marginally, better that that of an expanded.
Being Canadian, I'm pretty sure I'll get Twoonies, since the innocence afforded to a commonly-pocketed coin is undeniable. I'm certain I'll get them from Roy Kueppers, since I'm very happy to support a local craftsman (only 1.5 hours from me), Having seen Todd Lassen's work, I'd be thrilled to have ANYTHING he does, but Roy's work seems just as good. Before then, I'll go to a large national coin show here in Toronto (Oct 25-26) to look for 1 or 2 contrasting coins of my liking. You know ... copper, brass, etc.… Thanks very much for your help, everyone because, as always, I'm blown away by the helpfulness & friendliness of so many folks here! Cheers from Toronto!

Good luck Roadie!
Larry, David, Though I intentionally laughed about the idea of a double-sided shell as well, I ACTUALLY found a routine where they enhance the effect. Yup,it's still overkill, but even the most silly gimmicks could have some use!

Dan, given how impressed I am with your other posts, if you think the effect is enhanced I'm sure I would too. I look forward to seeing it someday.
