Now what the heck is this? ANOTHER Tenyo I have NEVER heard of and Azzam you get it?! Come on Azzam ... be honest, actually you have been collecting Tenyo for 30 years and now act like you just got all this, right? Right? RIGHT? Lol just kidding
Absolutely great you find all that old almost impossible to find stuff! Share the information John so we can all enjoy it and I guess when we're a year further we'll have EVERY Tenyo that ever came out (not the Disney or Japanse stuff perhaps) in English packaging ... what has been a mystery to a lot of us for years now thanks to Stereobasic's blog and Azzam's (and others of course) recent wonderfull finds will finally be revealed I believe the Die-Abolical Box is also a very rare item and I have it in my collection. I'll perhaps make a video of it. Azzam and others, why don't we all follow Cormatches example and start making videos of the rare stuff? |

The contest that I will organize for the blog soon justly consist to write a Review or make a video of trick that have no review or Video. The first gift will be one deluxe Tenyo Special 1997 Four Chance Game and for the second contest later it will be a Novel Tenyo Special trick created by Hideo Kato himself named "All roads leads to Rome" that I have redesigned, include package and original instruction. So you can now begin to prepare a review or a video if you want, even though the contest is not yet started. It's the same kind of good idea has been Amazing Azam with his Sherlock trick. I think it's good way to involve people and make the blog more interactive and complete and reward the person involved in the improvement of the blog.

If you saw a video of me then you would all be able to make fun of my lack of technique and horrible appearance. Right now you guys are imagining me as something better looking than I am.
I told my Tenyo Story here. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/searc......=7429808 January 11th of this year was my first multiple Tenyo purchase since the one in 2003. At that point I would estimate that I had less than 40 opened Tenyos in my case. In the last three months I have added hundreds of Tenyo both common and rare. I keep track of all aspects of my Tenyo in a very large and complex spreadsheet. My Collection contains 250 unique items (mostly new in English Packaging) with an average cost of $26.88. I have about 20 more to get to complete the T numbers but should be under 10 in within two weeks. My Performers contains 132 opened items or items in my open box for an average cost of $23.41. My Trade/Sell contains 156 items. I have already traded and sold about 200 items. All this happened in three months. It has been a full time undertaking and I am getting a little tired. I already have picked out an apprentice to takeover with my sources and leads but that will be tough let go. As you read in my story my original plan was just to get the good ones, but it quickly changed within days to getting them all. I know I will never have them all and I am happy to just get one of the "missing links" In this thread I hint at stopping myself from processing to the last stage of the disease. I hint at this but never mention what the last stage is. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/searc......=7489294 The last stage is when you get so attached to your stuff that you can't part with it even if you have many copies of it. I always stop myself from entering this stage and just trade or sell the item as long as I have one in the collection and one to play with. That is enough for me. I was hoping to bring my trade/sell list to an ending but new stuff keeps getting found and it is hard to pass up. There is plenty of Tenyo out there so as I have said many times, be patient and you will get what you want at a fair price. Here is a picture of my Tenyo case from a month or so ago. It has different stuff in it now. I rotate tricks in and out of it from a container I call my Tenyo Trunk. I will post pictures of the Tenyo Trunk soon. Back in January this case was merely my magic case and had more items from other makers but not it is Tenyo only. |

Mr. Webmaster.
Please delete Stereos picture. ;-) I thought I was done and now another journey has been presented. I think I will be OK as long as I stay out of the last stage of the disease. I just plucked Money Splash out of my open box and with the English directions sent to me by the kind KillerTweety, I will go play with it while I watch Celebrity Apprentice which has Magician Penn Gillette as a cast member this season.
