Thanks for the excellent review.

I am not sure about his criticism of regular shells. Nobody is going to figure it out, because in my routine nobody except me gets to touch my nuts!

But it is great to see a new supplier. I am amazed to see the variety of shells on offer considering this is such a niche market.

I have two of his novelty sets on order. I'm not convinced that we need to modify the standard shells, but in the right venue (grabby kids, drunken/unruly spectators) it would be nice to let them handle the shells without discovering the "secret"

He also makes standard sets without the bottom ridge for the traditional shell workers.

I'm looking forward to see how his peas work. He says they're softer than the "Perfect Pea" and are usable with magnets if that is your thing. That, in combination with his "Bottom Ridge" design means you won't have to switch a working pea for a hard pea if you wish them to handle the props.
