I don't have a real camera, just a little Bloggie, nor do I have any photo editing software beside Windows Live Movie Maker, but I had a show at a preschool with full photo release and had already hired a professional photographer, so I set up the webcam, trimmed and cut a bit, and this is what I got. What do you think?

Anyone know why I couldn't get full screen? It looks like the ratio would have been the same. I'm not good with this stuff

Nice Job on the Video. The Boys and Girls seemed to be having a really good time.

Purchase a camcorder and tripod. Record videos of yourself when performing. Join a video forum to get free support with any questions.

Remlap,

Definitely the easiest age for me. I do a full hour preschool show and have no problems keeping them captivated the whole time. Thanks for the comment.

Mike, thanks for the advice. I'd rather hire someone who knows what they are doing, just didn't work out this time.

I agree about the age thing. Funny, you and I do a lot of similar stuff and I even have that same table you have in the middle!
Great job on the video.

Thanks guys. Scott, I think the subtitle for my show could be "Grown man repeatedly hit in the head and face with various objects."

The reason it wasn't full screen was because youtube does wide screen 1024 X 768. Your's was smaller than that. Not sure what your original was but I know in camtasia when I go to render a video it asks me what size I want to render it as.

Hmmm...Thanks Gman. I never really came into a render option, just a save as, and then I got to pick 720 or 1080. I tried both, and they both had borders.

You're welcome. Most people believe that to begin using video they need all this fancy stuff (me included, that is why I purchased Camtasia). You really don't need to spend a whole lot of cash. Most of the basic editing can be done in movie maker.

Agreed. And the camera was a Bloggie. I think it turned out well enough. Gets the point across for sure.

It worked fine. Mostly I either use a flip camera or the camera on phone.
