Does anyone here know where to find thin, flexible metal sheets of ferrous metals (attracted by magnets)? Preferably, I would like to find something that can be cut easily with shears/tin snips. Even something like the "something" you get with UV Nightshades by Paul Harris.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Google search "steel shim"
These usually are sold in rolls. The rolls are spring loaded so wear eye protection and be very careful when releasing the ties that hold it in a roll. Larry |

Depending on what you will be using it for and how large a sheet you need, you may find what you are looking for at the dollar store in the form of a travel mini sized magnetic chess set.
That is where I got mine. I just pulled off the metal sheet from the plastic chess board. :o)

I got my sheet of steel shim .005 Thickness from Amazon.
It came as a flat sheet. Not rolled up. |

Thank you all for the responses thus far. So far, as the intended use is for various things (all magic related), the sheer number of selections available from the link provided by Jim (J-Mac) seems to fit my need so far.
If anyone has any more resources, please do share! |
