So earlier this year I got into magic, on the most part I would learn card tricks and show them to people in school. I got quite a reputation for this, and so I was asked by my head of year to perform in assembly on our last day!
I was wondering what advice you have for my first stage show, and how you think card tricks translate to performance in front of my year (around 150 people). Also, what do you think about performing dual reality effects in this situation? I wanted to perform Colin Mcleod's bookless book test and Luke Jermay's touching on hoy, but do you think this will work with a group of people who are very close and will probably talk to each other about it after the show? |
