May I point you in the direction of Max Maven's Routine: "4 sided triangle." in his Colors book. It contains your routine plus more in a nice dramatic presentation. I agree with revealing the sealed prediction last.

Wow. My opinion, as a spectator to this, would be the opposite: Build up the prediction, the mailing, the opening, etc...then read it, then flip the card over for the confirmation. That way, it all becomes one unit, not 2 pieces.
That's from a spectator's point of view, the way I'd like to see it. But in reality, it probably doesn't make a difference, it would only be a preference. Why not try it the 2nd way this time just to see how it plays? Any way would not be significantly weaker than the other way.
